Peterson still looks like a newborn colt to start the round, legs flaying everywhere. Left hook from Matthysse lands and sends Peterson to the canvas. Makes the 8 count and Smoger lets him go. Another hook and Peterson is done. Smoger waves it off.
A straight right hand with about a minute to go in the round stunned Peterson and then about 20 seconds later a winging left hook sent Peterson tumbling to the canvas. #boxing
